A large part of my community involvement centers around my role as board member or advisory member of different organizations.

I’m particularly proud to have worked as a member of the Viterbo Community Advisors board and the University of Wisconsin La Crosse Chancellor Advisory Board.
It is important to engage with the college student population in our community.

Students are a vital voice in our city. They are our future and shape our present. They volunteer, making our community stronger. They impact our economy and work jobs that improve our quality of life.

That’s why I encourage local businesses to offer internships. And have employed interns myself every chance that I get. I understand the challenges student population faces with regards to affordable housing options.

And as a mother of three sons will soon be of college age, I will work hard to represent their needs in our City’s plan for the future.
